A motorcycle collided with a Saturn sedan in a crash that killed the rider.
The victim has been identified as a 45-year-old man from Orange County, California. A witness said that both the motorcycle and the sedan ran red lights at the same time, which caused the incident. According to the police report, the rider was traveling eastbound on Ellis, while the sedan was making a left turn from westbound Ellis onto Bushard.
As is usually the case with incidents like these, for one reason or another, blame tends to fall on the deceased. More likely, in our experience, the motorcycle went through an intersection going straight, while the sedan turned left in front of the motorcycle cutting off the rider’s right of way.
Regardless of how the accident occurred, the Orange County motorcycle lawyers here at RiderzLaw wish our deepest condolences to the family and friends affected by the loss, and beg our readers to please ride carefully out on the streets.
