LOS ANGELES MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT LAWYER REPORT: The motorcycle accident attorneys at Riderz Law have a tragic accident to report from Los Angeles. On Thursday, October 19 at approximately 3:45p.m., Kaleena Ann Porter was killed in a crash on Highway 173. Porter was on her 1995 Harley Davidson traveling east on 173 with a group of fellow riders, when, for reasons that are under investigation, she crossed the center line of the roadway into the path of westbound Dodge Ram pickup. She was ejected from her bike, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are still investigating the crash, and have not stated whether alcohol or drugs were a contributing factor. Regardless, this is an accident that never should have happened. Whether it was alcohol, carelessness, or failure to ride within skill level, this motorcycle accident was 100% preventable.
