A rider was killed last Friday in a motorcycle accident that occurred in Oceanside.
The incident took place at the intersection of Broadway and Cassidy Streets at approximately 4:00pm.
The rider has been identified as 52-year-old Michael John Bisone.
The motorcycle entered the intersection at a “high rate of speed” according to officers when he collided with a Ford vehicle that was stopped at the stop sign.
Officers arrived on scene around 4:10pm and Bisone was transported to a local hospital where he passed from his injuries.
It has not been determined if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash, however, speed was determined to be a factor.
