Is Motorcycle Ownership for You?
- Part 1: Introduction (You are here)
- Part 2: Economy
- Part 3: Safety
- Part 4: Lifestyle
- Part 5: Concluding Thoughts
Some people may find the topic of this short article series to be a bit silly, but actually to anyone who has never ridden before it can be very relevant. Motorcycle ownership often becomes a lifestyle change, and I mean this literally. Being a rider commonly becomes an identity, and as evidenced by this motorbike-focused law firm, can eventually change the course of your life.
This blog post serves as the kickoff to a short series on the ins and out of motorcycle ownership. This series will include five parts in total made up of Economy, Safety and Lifestyle along with this introduction post and a concluding post.
This series will be intensive yet general, brief yet substantial and practical yet theoretical. This series will not tell you that riding is for you, it will help you decide for yourself. Furthermore, it assumes you are considering entering the realm of street motorcycle riding to some part (whether exclusively or in mix with off-road riding, i.e. dual sport riding).
Without further ado, I will conclude the introduction and leave you with a quote:
"Driving a motorcycle is like flying. All your sense are alive….You're free of the gravity of what people think" -Hugh Laurie
