The motorcycle accident lawyers here at Riderz Law hope you had a safe and enjoyable holiday season. We know that for some, however, the holidays brought sadness, and in at least a few instances, injuries on the road. Some of these were the result of careless riding, drunk drivers, or just people (whether riders or car drivers) in too big a holiday rush.
Well now that the holiday season (and the craziness it brings) is over, I thought it would be a good time to give my readers a few New Year's Riding Resolutions.
(1) Never be in a hurry when you are on your motorcycle
(2) Never assume that the driver of that car sees you
(3) Never ride without proper insurance, including uninsured coverage. The last thing you should have to deal with, in the case of a motorcycle injury, is a heap of medical bills. For more on this, read this article on motorcycle insurance.
(4) Never, ever, ever drink and ride a motorcycle.
It should go without saying, but the last of these is by far the most important. And with that, let me wish all of my motorcycle riding brothers and sisters a safe and happy New Year. Let's make this a good one by riding smart, paying attention, and always wearing proper safety gear.
