SAN JOSE: Our San Jose motorcycle accident attorney has a tragic, fatal motorcycle accident to report. Last Sunday, a 32-year-old woman died after crashing her motorcycle on northbound Highway 280 by Edgewood Road. According to California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at approximately 12 noon when the victim lost control of her motorcycle and swerved into the number two lane–right into a Honda sedan. The driver of the Honda apparently tried to avoid the collision, but was unable to evade the motorcyclist. The motorcyclist was transported to Stanford University Medical Center, where she later succumbed to her injuries. Our thoughts and prayers are with this slain rider and her family.
Based upon preliminary reports, it appears that the accident was caused by rider error. While the majority of the motorcycle accidents our lawyers handle involve negligent drivers, a significant amount of accidents can be avoided by proper riding, safety training, and awareness. The motorcycle accident attorneys at Riderz Law urge our clients and readers to ride smart and ride safe.
