Looking for another reason to go to Sturgis this year? In addition to the booze, girls, and more bikes than you can count, here's another thing to look forward to. Indian Motorcycles, which was recently purchased by the American company Polaris (maker of Victory Motorcycles) will have their entire 2012 lineup on display at the nation's biggest motorcycle rally.
The bikes will be on the corner of 4th and Lazelle Streets in downtown Sturgis. Indian merchandise will also be available for sale. If that's not enough, the company is inviting all Indian owners to park their motorcycles by the display in celebration of the company's 110 year anniversary. The anniversary is 110 years since its inception, as the company has seen multiple ownership changes, and even a few years of hybernation. Read more about the company's rocky history here.
And if you are making the ride to Sturgis this year, the motorcycle accident lawyers here would remind you that accidents occur to bikers on that trek every year. Ride safe, and never ride while intoxicated!
