LOS ANGELES: The Los Angeles motorcycle accident lawyers at Riderz Law have an accident to report involving two motorcycles. According to the California Highway Patrol, the first motorcyclist was killed and the other was injured in a crash that occurred on the 10 Freeway.
The crash occurred last Sunday at approximately 4:30 on the east-bound 10 Freeway, just west of the 405. According to CHP reports, the two motorcyclists were speeding down the freeway and weaving in and out of traffic. The accident occurred when the second motorcyclist ran into the back of the first motorcyclist, causing both to crash. The first motorcyclist was killed instantly. Toxicology reports confirmed that the second motorcyclist was intoxicated. He is currently being treated at UCLA Medical Center and will then be turned over to the authorities. Our thoughts are with the slain rider and his family.
Any motorcycle accident is tragic, but this one is even more so, as it was entirely preventable. As the Riderz Law motorcycle accident attorneys preach time and again, ride safe, and NEVER ride while intoxicated. There is enough danger on the roads with careless drivers. Speeding and riding drunk is a recipe for disaster.
