A Los Angeles man has been killed on the 134 Freeway in an accident with many unknown details.
The rider, described as being in his late twenties or early thirties, appears to have been riding his BMW motorcycle near the junction with the 5 freeway at approximately 6:30 am Tuesday when the accident took place.
CHP officers responded to calls about a downed motorcycle, and once on-scene officials pronounced the rider dead.
It is not clear whether this was a single vehicle incident or if others were involved, but it is being reported that their are no other injuries. CHP is currently investigating the crash.
Having ridden on the busy highways of Orange County and Los Angeles often on my XR650R, ambitiously tearing through traffic on such a nimble and powerful bike can easily become a staple of any commute. It's for these very reasons that us riders often find ourselves in trouble when riding on inconsistent public motorways. The Los Angeles motorcycle accident attorneys here at RiderzLaw offer our deepest condolences, both to our fallen brother and to those around him who will be affected by this accident. Pleas stay safe riders.
