A Hell’s Angels member and philanthropist was killed July 17 in an accident on the 405 in Los Angeles.
At about 4:30 pm, Michael Pena was riding his 2009 Harley Davidson when he crashed into a Nissan pick-up truck stopped in the HOV lane with a flat tire.
In a report by officials, it was stated that Pena was unable to stop his bike in time to avoid rear-ending the Nissan.
As a result of injuries sustained during the accident, Pena was pronounced dead on scene by the LA City Fire Department.
Officers closed two lanes of the 405 southbound for approximately four hours yesterday as a result of the crash.
