CT Tires
7444 Reseda Blvd #O
Reseda, CA 91335
818-776-0051
This is just a little shop in Reseda. Here is a guy who won’t bend you over a barrel for tires. (Amazing, right???) He’s friendly and honest, does great work, and we would venture to say you can’t find better prices (for tires or the install) in all of LA. Whether you live in the Valley or the South Bay — this place is worth the drive!
Atlantis Motor Corp.

Los Angeles, CA 90026
(Silverlake)

If you have enough soul to appreciate a rebuilt 1973 Honda 350, this is the place for you! These guys have true love for those old bikes most people has long forgotten about — little old imports from the 60s and 70s that may not Blue Book for much, but make up for it in cool and nostalgia value. My first “real” motorcycle (not counting my 5 hp Briggs & Stratton mini bike that sported a pull-string lawnmower starter) was a 1973 Honda CL 350 Street Scrambler. So I have to say, I have a special place in my heart for anyone who puts as much love and attention into these old bikes as I did that summer of 1989 when I first bought her.
SF Moto
275 8th Street
San Francisco, CA 94103
415-255-3132
This was my go-to place for parts and gear when I was going to law school in San Francisco. Tony, the parts manager, is friendly and knowledgeable. Check them out.
Garage Co
956 W. Hyde Park Blvd
Inglewood, CA 90302
1-800-393-3766
This is THE PLACE in LA to find vintage parts in LA county. The proprietor, Yoshi, is maybe the coolest cat west of the Mississippi. Entire rooms full of old parts, from handle bars to carbs to break levers. You name it, he’s got it. Just be ready to spend a few glorious hours sifting through all the parts. Of course, he’s got new parts, too, as well as cycle gear, helmets, and maybe the greatest show room of vintage British and Italian bikes you’ve ever seen. The place is a little bit hard to find, hidden away off the 405, where La Cienega and Florence meet. But it’s worth the effort.
ABATE of California
“ABATE of California is a not-for-profit, social membership-driven, tax-exempt California corporation dedicated to preserving motorcyclists’ freedom of choice and freedom of the road. Their main goal is to promote motorcycling, advance motorcycle safety on the roads of California and protect the rights of motorcyclists everywhere.”
These are the men and women who are out there fighting for your rights as a motorcyclist in California. Without them, no one in Sacramento would give a damn about us, and we would be legislated right out of riding the bikes we love to ride. If you care about riding, get off your *** and get involved! At the very least, become a member and support this wonderful organization. Large numbers of potential voters is the only thing the bureaucrats in Sacramento or Washington really care about.
