TEMECULA MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT LAWYER REPORT: The motorcycle accident attorneys at Riderz Law have a tragic accident to report from Temecula. On Wednesday July 26, 2017 a motorcyclist died in a three vehicle collision. While traveling northbound on the 15 freeway, north of Winchester Road, the rider was behind two cars, a Honda Accord and a Toyota Prius. The rider moved into the lane to his left, and as he did so, the Prius also began to execute a lane change into the path of the motorcyclist which was traveling slightly faster than the Prius. The bike clipped the rear left panel of the car and spun out of control, ejecting the rider onto the roadway. At this point, the rider was struck by an unknown pickup truck who ran over the rider, killing him. The truck driver fled the scene. The Prius also had swerved back into the slow lane colliding with the Accord.

Police are still investigating the crash, and have not stated whether alcohol was a contributing factor. Regardless, this is an accident that never should have happened. Whether it was alcohol, carelessness, or failure to pay attention, this motorcycle accident was 100% preventable.
